Jackrabbit Publishing, LLC (“Jackrabbit”) offers to its users a range of services, including site(s), application(s), and related features, and content (collectively, the “Service(s)”). Some of our Services are primarily targeted at children, while others may be intended for users of all ages and their families. No matter the intended audience, Jackrabbit takes privacy very seriously. To that end, our Privacy Policy is designed to provide transparency as to what information we collect and how we use it. We may update the Privacy Policy from time to time to accommodate new features, industry practices, or regulatory requirements, and will indicate when changes have been made by revising the date at the top of this Privacy Policy.

Information We May Collect

We may collect two types of data: (i) personal data, and/or (ii) non-personal data.

Personal data is personally identifiable information that identifies a particular user as an individual. Jackrabbit does not collect personal information from children under the age of 13, unless it first obtains the necessary parental consent required under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Rule (“COPPA”) Jackrabbit may collect personal data that parents/guardians voluntarily provide when using the Services. Examples of personal data provided by parents/guardians include, but are not limited to: email address for those who wish to receive newsletters, promotional notifications, or alerts from Jackrabbit; name(s), gender; transaction information when purchase a Service; customer support queries; or birth date. We primarily use this kind of information to contact parents/guardians about new Services and features and to send push notifications if consent to receive them has been given.

Non-personal data is information that either does not directly identify an individual user, or is personal information which has had the individual identifiers removed. Examples of non-personal data include, but are not limited to: usage, viewing, and technical data, such as the duration a mobile application is used, how it is used, screens viewed and actions taken within the mobile application. We primarily use this kind of information to enhance and improve our Services.

Non-personal Data and Analytics

Jackrabbit may also work with third party analytics providers to help us understand your use of our Services. Examples of data that may be analyzed include, but are not limited to, how many times a page is viewed or a link is clicked, time spent on an application page, or application progress. This information is for internal use only and will not be shared.

Website

When you visit the Jackrabbit website, your computer’s operating system, Internet Protocol (IP) address, access times, browser type and language and referring website address(es) may be logged automatically. We may also collect information about your usage and activity, such as number of clicks, pages viewed and the order of those pages, the amount of time spent on particular pages, and the date and time of this activity. We primarily use this kind of information to monitor, analyze, and improve upon our Services.

Jackrabbit may disclose your personal or non-personal information to additional parties if we believe we are required to by law, by a judicial proceeding, to protect Jackrabbit’s rights and properties, or to investigate fraud, intellectual property infringement, or any other conduct which might be illegal or expose Jackrabbit or a user of its Services to legal liability. In addition, Jackrabbit may disclose your information in the event of a change or proposed change in the ownership of the company.

Jackrabbit uses generally accepted security measures and safeguards to keep data secure. These measures include, but are not limited to, limiting access to data to those persons who need it to perform this job at Jackrabbit, using a fire-wall protected environment, and use of secure operating environments.

How to Remove Your Information

Jackrabbit keeps your content for as long as necessary in providing its Services. As may be required under COPPA, if you want to opt out of Services,, or review or delete personal information, please contact us at support@jackrabbitpublishing.com.
